If you’ve been wanting to learn Mahjong but felt overwhelmed, this is your place 💗 Our Mahjong 101 classes, led by Laura of Mama Mahjong or Meredith of Mahjong Meredith, are known for being approachable, fun, and incredibly effective. We teach in a way that makes the game finally click, using Laura’s coveted 101 Training Card to simplify the patterns and build confidence fast. No pressure, no intimidation—just a welcoming table where you’ll learn, laugh, and leave ready to play.
We’re offering Mahjong 101's to get you confident and ready to jump into the Mahjong world, our friendly league or the Bam Bird Scramble!

Mahjong 101 is a fun, welcoming, and stress-free introduction to the game of Mahjong! Whether you are brand new or just curious to learn, this lesson is designed to make you feel contident and excited to play.
During our 2.5 hour session, you will learn how to play using the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules. It's a true learning experience, but always social, fun, and enjoyable.
A portion of proceeds from this event will support The Bunny Hive Nashville as they continue their efforts to rebuild and recover after the winter storm. Your participation helps them restore their space and keep their community gathering.
